Hailing from the McLaren Vale we have a very exciting project from Winemaker duo Ben Caldwell and Mauricio Ruiz Cantú.
"We make alternative varieties that are well adapted to this part of the world, but that also have the unique expression from McLaren Vale's highly varied soils. Made in a minimal intervention style, these wines see partial whole bunch fermentation, foot treading and most of them are pressed early to keep them fresh and vibrant." –Ben & Mauricio.
When these boys say alternative they mean it, from Tinitio, Anglianico and some other interesting mixed blends, they have got our taste buds tingling.
