Winemaker John Lockwood has worked on the production side of the industry since his first harvest in 2004. He has worked and studied under notable California winemakers such as David Mahaffey, Ted Lemon, and Ehren Jordan.
Making use of great vineyards from different AVA’s across California John is making a refreshing and cool fruited range of wines. Whole Bunch Wines is proud to have secured a tiny allocation for the Australian market. Be quick!

Owner Nicholas Maloney started Father John Winery during his stay in France which included work in Haute Savoie, Margaux, Nuits-saint-Georges and Pernand Vergelesses in the Côte d’Or. His experiences in France influenced his philosophy of creating wines that age gracefully and are suited to accompany fine cuisine.
LIEU DIT - SANTA YNEZ VALLEY

Lieu Dit is a partnership of longtime friends Eric Railsback and Justin Willett. The two met in Santa Barbara while Eric was finishing college and Justin was just beginning his career in winemaking. The two were among a small group of young winemakers and restaurateurs in Santa Barbara unified by a common interest in wine and all its mysteries.
After countless bottles shared together and many trips to France, Railsback and Willett decided to found Lieu Dit in 2011 and focus it solely in the varieties indigenous to the Loire Valley, now grown in Santa Barbara County.
